Hawaii is home to many amazing sea slugs. These range from the tiny kahuna nudibranch to the Spanish dancer that can reach up to 16" long. These bright colored animals are actually quite cryptic blending into the reef easily. Nudibranchs are usually found on algae patches, under overhangs, caves or under rocks. Seasonally some species of nudibranch get together in large numbers to mate.
